Venison Cheese Steaks




2 venison Steaks well trimmed, cut into 3" long and 1/2 " thick strips
1 green bell pepper, sliced
1 white onion, sliced
1 dash of thyme
4 slices Swiss cheese
salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp olive oil
16 oz spaghetti sauce ( prepared or homemade )
4 steak rolls

Sauté the venison, onion, and green pepper in olive oil until meat is just done (don't overcook). Add thyme, salt, and pepper. Add desired amount of spaghetti sauce, simmer until blended and warm. Place generous amount of meat on a steak roll and top with cheese. Place in oven and brown; serve hot and toasty.
