Alaskan Salmon Pie



2 lb salmon filet
1 cup dry white wine
1/2 lb fresh cod filet
1 slice sourdough French bread (dried and crumbled)
2 large truffles (chopped fine)
2 egg yolks, well beaten
2 tbsp butter, melted
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper

Lightly butter a 2 quart casserole dish that has a lid. Cut salmon into 1 inch pieces. Marinate 4 hours in dry wine turning at least twice. Finely chop cod and blend well with remaining ingredients. Remove salmon from marinade and pour marinade into mixture and blend well. Place 1/2 of salmon on the bottom of the casserole dish, cover with 1/2 of the cod mixture, repeat for a second layer. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes, uncover and bake until top is browned. Remove and serve.
