Cream Sherry Dove



12 Dove Breasts
2 Bullion Cubes
2 cup Water
6 tbsp Butter
3 tbsp Flour
4 slices Smoked Bacon
1/2 cup Cream Sherry
1 pinch Paprika
Salt & Pepper to taste

Fry bacon in a medium fry pan, when just crispy add butter. Season dove breasts with salt and pepper add to fry pan and brown. Remove and place dove in a large casserole dish. Remove bacon and crumble over dove breasts. Dissolve bullion cubes in water. Add flour to fry pan, stir blending with butter and bacon drippings. Slowly add bullion, sherry, salt and pepper, simmer until it just starts to bubble. Pour mixture over dove breasts. Cover casserole dish and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

Serve with wild rice and macaroni & cheese.
