Bear-B-Q Sandwich





4 cups shredded, cooked bear (loin or shoulder)

1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar

1 tablespoon dry mustard

1/2 teaspoon pepper

1/4 cup white wine vinegar

1/4 cup butter

11/2 cup water

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup catsup

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

8 hamburger buns



In a large skillet, combine bear, brown sugar, dry mustard, pepper, water, vinegar and butter. Bring to a boil. Cover; reduce heat and simmer 25 minutes. Add salt, catsup and Worcestershire. Simmer uncovered 20 to 25 minutes or until desired consistency. Serve on hamburger buns.
