Mushroom Goose

 

This is another holiday favorite in our house. Duck cooks up well with this recipe also.

 

Ingredients:

 

1 Goose Dressed

1/3 Cup Bacon Drippings

2 Can Mushroom Soup

1/4 Cup Water

1 Medium Sliced White Onion

3 Cubes Chicken Bouillon

1 Clove Garlic Minced

Thyme, Marjoram to taste

 

Cut the goose into serving size portions. Brown well with bacon drippings in a Dutch oven. When well browned put the goose along with all other ingredients in a baking dish. Cover and place in the oven, cook at 300 degrees for approximately 1 hour.

Serve with all the traditional holiday extras!
